Enjoy the simple wild private campsites with gravel pads, on the edge of a creek ravine with second growth forest and the regeneration of the forest around you. A big beautiful pond hosts lots of wildlife and you will hear our chickens making their happy noises on the wind.
And for your information—This year we have a quiet long term camper in the site next to the one you can reserve in a school bus and a tiny home is at the end of the road with no occupancy. There are large berms inbetween each site for privacy.
Sheringham light house and Shirley Delicious Cafe are within walking or biking distance and The Stoked wood fire pizza is also just down the road beside French beach.
No shortage of sights to take in here on the west Coast of Vancouver island.

Nestled in a serene setting, this campsite offers a peaceful retreat with plenty of privacy thanks to natural brush and bushes. Guests have praised the welcoming and accommodating host, Navit, who ensures visitors have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The site is perfect for those seeking a quiet escape close to nature, with easy access to local attractions and beaches. While the campsite lacks some modern amenities, the beauty of the surroundings and the thoughtful touches from the host make it a popular choice for campers.
Loved tenting here, host was super reliable to contact, the campgrounds are well kept, and they even let us borrow a hatchet when we forgot ours. I would absolutely come back again.
I'm pretty slow to never finding time to write reviews but I definitely wanted to praise my experience. Beautiful nature filled land with native flowers. Extreamly bright stars right above when all lights are off. I will be coming back for sure with the whole family.
The host was amazing and very communicative, she gave great directions and instructions making it super easy to find. She came out to greet us as we were setting up and made sure that we had everything needed, and showed us where the bathroom was.
There are three spaces and while they are kind of close together there is a lot of brush and bushes between the spots so they are still super private. The spot is a great size. The pond and the garden are super cool.
I really enjoyed that the listing was accurate to what you are getting since sometimes they are not.
All in all though it was a great experience and if I found myself in this area again I would stay here again.
