Enjoy the tranquillity of our 20-acre farm, surrounded by the Little Qualicum River and old-growth forest. We have 2 riverfront campsites that feature their own beach, the remaining 2 sites are along a stunning tree line of old growth forest. These sites offer more shade than our river front sites and are a short walk to the river. Several of our sites can accommodate up to a 40 foot trailer. We are an RV site only as we currently do not offer rest room facilities. They are under construction currently. We will soon be able to offer an our door shower and flush toilets! The farm is a 5-minute walk to the beach, a 5-minute drive to town, as well as 5 minutes to the local golf course. The river has many wonderful places to float along, as well as some incredible swimming holes. It is a favourite place for river fishing during the fishing season. Our farm has mini goats, lambs, pigs, ducks, chickens, cows, turkeys and rabbits. we are happy to take you on a tour upon request. Our farm is on a natural breeding ground for bald eagles so it is near certain that you will see several of them each day. Our campground is for those who appreciate nature, enjoy private campsites, and support local farmers.

It’s a wonderful farm and you can enjoy watching lots of farm animals. My children loved it the most.

Site 2 - Blue Moon Acres

It is a quiet place on a farm with access to a small river. And to be fair, my son enjoyed the private river walk and the very friendly dogs. But there is no view except of the farm or the rv park on the other side of the river and their was no toilet available as listed on the Hipcamp site. Therefore not worth the high price of $49 per night.

Site 2 - Blue Moon Acres

Awesome site, great people, couldn't have had a better experience (our first with Hipcamp!)... Lianne was super friendly and kind (we had ferry issues and she was very accomodating).. Luna, Leroy, and Lucy (the pups) were a huge hit for our kiddos - they played at the site for hours... the farm was great, the lake, the site... again, couldn't be happier!

Very serene setting. Had the whole place to ourselves. Lianne greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. Was a bit surprised there was no portable toilet on site as advertised on Hip Camp.

Site 2 - Blue Moon Acres

Great camping experience at Blue Moon Acres. We came with a popup camp trailer and stayed at Site 1 with river access. We loved seeing all the farm animals and strolling around the farm. The best feature though is that the farm borders on the Qualicum Heritage Forest with lots of trails and old big growth trees. The hosts were great and very accommodating. We spent a very enjoyable 2 days and will be back.

Site 1 - Blue Moon Acres

Great place, the Salmon were spawning! The trails are great and it’s in a great location for many good day trips. Our family had wonderful time, will definitely come back!
