Maybe just not our cup of tea
It was fine. Just felt a little exposed in the field between two homes (not super close, but still) and the highway not far off. We got in late so maybe we didn't find the best spot. The host was responsive and helpful.

Muskrat Flat
Quiet spot with lots of space!
What a beautiful spot! Li-an walked out and met us when we arrived, showing us the muskrat den and giving us the run of the land. She has a wealth of knowledge about the area; history, trails, recreation activities, animals, etc. The field is quite flat with the exception of a couple gopher holes, we had no issue driving in with our 2WD vanagon camper. The pond was beautiful, and is alive with so many birds, ducks, and those illusive muskrats and badger, definitely recommend spending some time walking around it, especially at sunrise/sunset. While we had the whole space to ourselves, it would be great for groups and if you are looking to access the mountain bike trails in the area. The highway is quite close, including a convenience store which provides laundry, showers and where we were able to fill up on ice and cold drinks. We didn't have any issues with the noise, even the nosey mule;)

Welcoming stop in Williams Lake
The directions Lu-an sent us were very clear. The field was nice and level, the pond was full of birds and after a short braying the mule was quiet. It was nice that Li-an came across the field to greet us
