Wake up to coastal mountain views on the east coast of Vancouver Island at our property just outside Nanaimo. Sitting in the foothills of Mt. Benson, we have a large fire pit and two campsites that can host up to four people each. You can find hiking, biking, and ATV trails nearby, and it’s just a 5-minute walk to Witchcraft Lake. We’re also a short drive to the shops and cafes of Nanaimo, plus the beaches and trails of Newcastle Island Marine Provincial Park.
Enjoy the seclusion of off-the-grid-style camping with conveniences like potable water via a hose, parking, wheelchair access, a portable toilet, and even wifi. RVs and trailers are welcome to use our electrical and water hookups, as well as a gravel pull-in space that can accommodate a length up to 45 feet.
About 110 kilometres north of Victoria, this camping spot sits about 6 miles east of central Nanaimo in the mountains outside of town. Mt. Benson Regional Park, Morrell Nature Sanctuary, and Westwood Lake Park are all great spots to find hiking trails and walking paths nearby. In Nanaimo, you can explore cultural attractions like the Old City Quarter, take a seaplane tour, or check out coastal islands like Gabriola Island or Newcastle Island.
