3 totally private grassy acres surrounded by forest a 2 minutes walk to Stoney beach mountain view. Own basic toilet and sink in house basement. This is in a much sought after holiday location with biking trails ocean and walking distance into town with all amenities. Ferry to other islands run on a regular schedule.Pitch your tent and you have virtually total privacy on flat grass surrounded by big old pine trees and running stream. A sunny spot in the middle of Crown Forest Land but no bear or cougars. Resident horses graze on same acreage and may visit camp site. Wonderful cycle roads along ocean or playful dog walks.

Warm and welcoming
Elaine is a wonderful, warm and welcoming person! Her property is close to a beautiful bay down the hill and close to Sointoula. We loved the horses and dogs.

Elaine was a lovely host who couldn't have been more welcoming. We especially enjoyed one of the horses popping his big head in the tent for a morning scratch.

We had a wonderful experience on Elaine’s land. The horses are magical. Elaine is a kind and generous soul who made us feel welcome. Looking forward to camping in the field again.

Rooftop tenting with the horses!
Elaine's property, home and animals (horses and dogs) are unbelievable! The property is on a very quiet road, except for the rooster and chickens in the mornings! We have a rooftop tent so could not stay closer to the ocean and stayed close to the house. The horses roam free and are so calm and gentle, Elaine has a magical way with animals. We are so grateful to have had the experience to camp so close to the horses and to have met Elaine!
