Hosted by Berny and Stuart Moore, Blacksmith Landing Eco Camp is nestled in the majestic Rocky Mountain Trench in Southeastern BC, just a short drive from Lussier natural hot springs, hiking, boating, canoeing, golfing, breathtaking WhiteSwan Lake, Premier Lake, Findlay Falls and the Kootenay and Columbia rivers. Blacksmith Landing is a safe, spacious and peaceful camp where minimal environmental impact is encouraged. We are faithful stewards and respect our beautiful forested land. Our expectation is that campers will also share this respect for our Eco systems in an environmentally friendly way. As we take this Hipcamp journey together, we are finding little things we can do to make your stay better…Like offering a complimentary table at your site should you require one…. or adjusting the site you booked to one that would perhaps fit your needs much better as we know it’s difficult to choose a perfect site on line. If you forgot something, we probably have one…. Feel free to ask.

The Ponderosa

We had a wonderful stay at the Ponderosa. Berny and Stuart were great hosts. Berny met us when we came in and drove us to our campsite. We pre-ordered the Brisket sandwich and Chicken Pot Pie which was great. Campgrounds very clean and lots of room to walk the dogs. Thanks for the stay.

Sunset Boulevard

Subset Boulevard is a great location with beautiful sunset and right next to the bathroom. Beautiful location, kind host. She even brought a table for us to cook on and eat on. Definitely recommend staying here!

Badger Hollow

Will be Returning!

Berny was so incredibility hospitable. The campground was clean and well-maintained. I loved all the details - like the library and the decorated loo. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich that was so delicious and included a side of veggies straight from the garden! It's like I was staying at my aunt's place - treated like family.

Badger Hollow

A great spot to camp. Berny and Stewart were really friendly and welcoming. Had the chicken pot pie and it was the best I've ever had. The "loo" is definitely a lot nicer than the typical outhouses/porta potties. Would definitely camp here again!

The Long Haul

Best by far!

This lovely lady and her hero (yes respectfully a hero husband) Have done a wonderful job! A great sense of humor and her "Extra's" are amazing. Like going home for the weekend. Thanks for being a hipcamp host! Love the ecltic wood pcs and the book nook! Best selling outhouse ever!!!! Lol 😆 🤣 😂 I'ld poop there again!
