Beautiful pet friendly campground
Beautiful wide open campsite next to Granby River just north of Grand Fork, BC. Beautiful picnic table, large fire pit, port-a potties nearby and firewood available for purchase. Daniella was so welcoming and kind. Our trip was cut short due to a dog/skunk interaction and Daniella and her partner went to extraordinary efforts to help us. The property has a large off leash area along the river for your pets to romp. We will definitely return to Big Sky Campground.

Best Hipcamp Ever!
Honestly, It doesn't get any better than this! The location is so beautiful. We stayed with our retro camper and getting to the site was super simple. Daniella has great signage that takes you right to the river and your piece of paradise. The level of customer service and communication exceeds all other Hipcamps we have been to. Daniella offers great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Absolutely best Hipcamp experience we have had!

Paradise found!
What a wonderful place this is! I booked two nights and could have easily stayed a week or two had my schedule allowed. Daniella and Dion could not have been better hosts if they tried! From booking to departure it was about perfect. Clear easy to follow directions, absolutely beautiful land. My Toyota Yaris handled the drive in easily. Clean port-a-potties which Daniella checked daily. It was hot while I was there so being on the Granby River allowed for dips to cool off. The night sky with no light pollution must be seen to be appreciated. They currently have 4 sites so this would be perfect for a small family reunion location. I was camping solo with two dogs and felt completely safe and secure the whole time. If I had designed a place to go ...this would be it.

This place is paradise!!!
Daniella’s place is absolute paradise!
She gave good clear instructions on how to get there which made it super easy to find.
It’s very private and well spaced out sites, all on the river. The fields have colorful wild flowers and beautiful green grass to set up on and deep enough pools to swim in or float or fish from.
Nice little walking trail through the trees if you’re looking for some shade in the middle of the summer heat.
It was so quiet out there which makes for an awesome sleep.
The hand made picnic tables were perfect and nice sized fire rings at each site.
We were able to ride our ATV’s out and right across the entrance to their place is a dirt road that takes you up to the KVR trail.
Daniella and her husband were beyond exceptional camp hosts! They went above and beyond making our stay the best it could be. Came back to the camp with a flat unrepairable quad tire and she put the word out to her community in search for a spare one for me.
Absolutely 100% would recommend booking a stay here in paradise. We will be coming back for sure. Maybe an annual campout. Would be a great place for a family reunion.
