An adobe structure lovingly built and designed with a small footprint featuring a full kitchen stocked with anything you might need, flushing toilet, and shower. Floating above are two sunny lofts for sleeping and lounging. Full access to the fenced in acre lot. Dog friendly. This cottage is located in a small neighborhood surrounded by ranch and public lands. 5 miles from Colorado City, 15 miles to Coral Pink Sand Dunes, 55 miles to Zion NP, 88 miles to Bryce Canyon NP, 100 miles to North Rim Grand Canyon NP. Dark starry skies, bighorn sheep and deer sightings. Had a great time! Super cute and relaxing, as expected from the listing. Russell was easy to contact with the couple questions I had. The only upset was we were really looking forward to taking a bath outside but the water couldn’t get hot enough in the cold weather, something to consider if you’re staying in cold weather. It was about 50 degrees when we went. Plan on staying again some time!

Great little cottage, Russell was quick to respond to all of my questions. My wife and daughter loved that the beds were in the loft. We will definitely be making a return visit.

A great spot to catch a break from car camping. Watch the sunset and the moon rise, and enjoy this basic but cozy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. There isan outdoor bath and the firepit , both are perfect for enjoying the evening outside. I loved my stay here.

Cozy, so much to do, great place!

Loved it here! 10/10 - location, cabin & host. Location - I used this as a base to go down to the Grand Canyon north rim, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Zion, explore St. George & Hurricane and Russel is a great tour guide! He took me around the area to see petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, wind caves, vistas and so many cave paintings! I would never have found this stuff on my own (and neither do other tourists bc we didn’t see any!) Cabin - So comfortable and cozy! Hot shower, comfortable bed, kitchen with everything you need, fire pit, wood even friendly dogs and cats to that might visit you! As others have mentioned, no cell service but great wifi, there is also a nice laundry and big grocery store in town about 10 mins away. Host - Not only is Russel is a great tour guide, he also seems like genuinely good guy who wants his guests to be happy and enjoy his place, and the area, as much as he does. I’ll be back!

Wonderful launching point for Zion, Bryce, Vermillion Cliffs and more! It was a relaxing desert retreat with a well appointed kitchen and super responsive host.
