The area is famous for being the Halibut fishing capital of the world! Experience the breathtaking, fantastic views and easy access to the Kachemak Bays parks and trails that abound here! Fantastic hunting, fishing, hiking, and wildlife watching! Much of it accessible only minutes from the camping site!Enjoy being away from the highly crowded Homer Spit yet only 15 minutes from both it and the Kachemak Bay! You can relax while viewing the 4 awesome glaciers and unforgettable sunsets! At any moment a cow moose with her calf can feed by, or just hang around. Both power, water and sewer disposal are on the site.

The approach to the site is a slight downward incline and is more difficult to back in the larger class of RV's. The longest has been a 45 foot fifth wheel with a full size pickup
