Private tent camping: drive in and set up camp tucked away from the road on a 5 acre private hilltop field surrounded by tall trees leading to a stream at the base of the hill. Or Pull your camper or set up tents on our riverfront property. Fish from the dock or go for a swim. On both sites you can enjoy kayaking the rapids or sit back in a tube and ride the 3-5 hour lazy river rapids ride!

Great private and large site

Great spot with so much room and privacy. Would be great for a large group. Very quiet with the sounds of nature and the rapids. If you have dogs there is lots of room for them to run and play and it's away from the road. We will be back.

The Sliver by the River

Was a great site! Able to pull right in! Great trees spaced perfectly for hammocks, sand ground and spacious site! Loved having the dock! Ryan was great and we were able to purchase wood and farm fresh eggs from him! Would absolutely go back!

The Sliver by the River

Overall it is a gorgeous site with a beautiful view. The hosts and community are very friendly and the site was in perfect condition upon arrival. The hosts weren't home when we arrived but some local neighbors helped us find the spot. (I should note, we did arrive a day late). It is not private at all and very close to the road. Ultimately we ended up leaving a day early due to the amount of noise from road traffic and people fishing directly across and beside us. It was actually quieter in our backyard in town. There was also the fear of drunk drivers over the course of the long weekend as there were two questionable moments with vehicles that we witnessed. We would most likely not rent this site again unless for the day to utilize the lazy river but will most likely check out the other site they offer. Ryan (the host) was always very quick to respond and extremely helpful/kind. His wife and two little girls (adorable) brought is firewood and both checked in on us at different points and also upon noticing we left early to make sure everything was OK. I don't think you can meet kinder people.

Enjoyed our stay at the large private campsite. The site was well maintained and quiet. We took advantage of the limited cell reception to disconnect for a weekend.

Very loud neighbours. Music until 1am. 10 to 15 people swimming in front of the dock for hours. Otherwise site was as described
