We’re located off the beaten path in a remote community of Cape Dauphin NS, on Cape Breton Island. Mountain and forest behind us and ocean in front. Fairy Hole water cave hiking trailhead is just 7 min drive from us, secret swimming hole near us, Cabot Trail, hiking, swimming, paddling, fishing.This site is ideal for boon docking and RV/campers. We have water hook up and 30 amp service but no dumping available. The site is behind the old schoolhouse with the mountain behind you and ocean view in front. Close to hiking, nature, we are central to The Cabot Trail and the Newfoundland Ferry in North Sydney.

Great campsite! Flat, spacious, quiet, private, and E/W! Beautiful view, outstanding hosts. Well worth the drive. Highly recommend.

A perfect spot!
Prettiest spot we’ve enjoyed so far! Excellent accommodation, roomy and very tidy. Hosts were so welcoming. Fire pit was perfect and the wood we purchased here was all fragrant birch - so nice! Highly recommend!!!

Great Cape Breton camping!!
We had a wonderful stay at Trav and Lena’s Hipcamp. It was the perfect base to explore the Cabot Trail and Baddeck from and also very conveniently located near the Ferry to Newfoundland. The site has water and power and a mix of sun, shade and lovely breeze. We loved the location of the firepit and enjoyed the view of the water. The site is very spacious and allows for a few different ways to park There is so much to do in the area and Lena had great suggestions and helpful tips which made our stay even more enjoyable. Five stars!!
