Our birdlife is amazing and is a recognized birding location by provincial authorities, especially for swallows and chimney swifts. A fire pit will be made available, in respect of all fire bans, with firewood available for purchase. In 1910, Agriculture Canada set up a research centre that operated until the 1950's. The property was sold to a family that emigrated to Canada from Europe, to set begin a new life post WW2. In 2015, I purchased the property to return it to its roots - regenerative farming, training, hospitality, poverty relief and healthy living. When to go

There's no bad time to visit Lac-Brome, as it caters to visitors year-round. July and August can be very busy, while fall is a fantastic time for changing sugar maple leaves, a countryside ablaze in colour, and fresh produce aplenty. Winter sports are also an option for cold-weather adventurers.
