No-effort camping in five private and furnished wall tents each overlooking and only a few feet away from the Madawaska River. Save hundreds of dollars - canoes, firewood, propane, charcoal, drinking water, power and much more all included! Bring only your food, drink and sleeping bags! Fully-equipped kitchen cabin with fridge and sink, Bathroom Cabin with 2 flush toilets, hot shower, and sink, Tiki Hut with 2 gas bbqs and one charcoal bbq, clean drinking water, central power, floating swimming dock, pure sand beach, rope swing, volleyball court, hammocks, fire pit, picnic tables, etc... - you will not be roughing it! Just downstream from Palmer Rapids and the famous Paddler Co-op, and just upstream from the Lower Madawaska Provincial Park - a hidden gem of world-class whitewater! You might even want to add a 2-3 day canoe trip onto the end of your stay. Only one group at a time means you have the place to yourself - whether you're a single family or a large group. The Outside Inn sleeps 10 comfortably and 18 cozily. Although this is still a camping experience, we've tried to make it as easy as possible for you with a fully equipped kitchen cabin including a sink with hot/cold running potable water, fridge/freezer, plates, bowls, mugs, eating and cooking utensils, pots, pans, Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, etc... The Tiki Hut overlooking the beach includes a solar charging station, 3 barbeques (2 gas, 1 charcoal) as well as all fuel and grilling utensils. The Bathroom Cabin has two real flush toilets, hot/cold shower and sink area with running potable water. We offer 2 log cabins on a century old farm nestled on Ferguson Lake where you can relax and enjoy swimming, boating and fishing. Each cabin sleeps 6-8 individuals and features a large windowed porch, refrigerator, gas range, microwave, BBQ and is fully equipped to handle your house keeping needs. There are 3 double bunk beds in each cabin and a queen sized bed on the porch. There is running potable cold and hot water in cabin. Although there are NO in-cabin washrooms, we do provide a cabin-dedicated portion of a separate shower and washroom building in very close proximity. The sandy beach is ideal for children and adults alike to swim and there is a dock for sunning, diving or fishing. We have a raft out in the lake for more experienced swimmers. Along the water’s edge we have plenty of loungers and seating as well as campfire pits with free firewood. You can soak up the sun by the beach, picnic in the shade of our willow trees or try your hand at a game of horse shoes or for the avid fishermen Ferguson Lake has pike, largemouth bass and walleye. We are a 25-45 minute drive away from Logo’s Land, Calabogie Motorsports Park, 5 golf courses (Dragonfly, Renfrew, Calabogie Highlands, Oaks of Cobden and Whitetail), hiking destinations, ATV trails and numerous other lakes and rivers.
