Weekend Trip to Meech Creek Falls
Neil has a great place 30 minutes away from Gatineau! U get plenty of privacy on his property. We've enjoyed the sound of the water crrek at night. There is a wood heater inside the tent so the temperature was not too cold in mid october. There is a grocery store 5 min from the camp.... Very convinient. Would recommend!

That was our second time at La Nation and like last time, we had a great time there! Our host Gerry made sure that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay and found us a beautiful and quiet spot right next to the river. Very recommended!

Amazing location! The sound of the rushing waterfall is mesmerizing and melts away stress. The location is so amazing it counteracts some of the downsides of the campground. As it is newly opened these may just be growing pains. Please note there is no room for large tents. We have a tiny 2 person Marmot and were still unable to find a flat setup location.

We loved this property so much! It’s stunningly beautiful with amazing water access on the river and a lake. The amenities made camping easy: fire ring at the tent site, toilets, trash & recycling containers, plus the kayak & paddle boards available to rent. We saw deer, an ancient looking tortoise in the water, all kinds of birds, frogs, and fish which delighted the kids. Xavier was really kind and helpful. One of my all time favorite campsites!
