The terrain is mostly flat but interesting. Campsites are private with good separation from each other. Sites contain a picnic table and fire pit. Campfires are permitted according to our approved burn plan before midnight.

FREE Firewood can be gathered on the forest floor or pay for on-site pre-cut wood. Outhouses are close to campsites....but not too close 💩
Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station.
We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer
We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company.

Weekend Trip to Kubasseks Water Front Retreat
5/5 Stars. Truly remarkable
David’s land was extremely peaceful and easily accessible. What stood out the most was how quiet and private it felt; you could actually relax and hear nature around you. The property was well kept, and the host was friendly and responsive. There’s plenty of open space for camping, a nice fire pit area, and great views (especially at sunset). Perfect spot if you’re looking to unplug for a bit.
Not a Negative, however, this property appears to have high activity of coyotes, located approximately 50 - 100 feet away from Site 2. Coyotes are fairly timid and gutless animals but be cautious if bringing pets and or little ones, as the cries and howls can be a bit overwhelming. Coins in a can is a must-have to startle them peacefully.

Beautiful location! The host is very hospitable. There is electricity and water hookups. You can bring your rv or tent! There is a little river to canoe or paddle boat on. There are trails to walk all around the property! Overall great time will be back next year for a longer visit! One note, if you're bringing an animal make sure you clean their paws lol the ground has sand mixed with grass.

We spend a weekend at David's property and loved it. The sites are well placed on the property around the pond. There are canoes paddle boats and boards for your use. Ample firewood is included as well as a dozen farm fresh eggs. David was a wonderful host and very attentive to his beautiful property. We had a great time walking on some.of the pathes with our dogs.
Also my wife really appreciated the flush toilet in the outhouse! What a great touch.

Absolutely perfect for our first time using my Old (new to us) pop up trailer. I went with two friends and loved the site. We went on the paddle boat, hiked around the trails, went fishing and relaxed by the fire. David is an Amazing host. His property is gorgeous and he is very welcoming. The Host David and his Wife made us feel so welcome, this is honestly the best host you wil ever find, we had a small incident with our one year old baby the morning of the last day, not related to the camp site and had to go to the emergency room, after contacting David very early in the morning, he accommodate us by allowing us to check out when we can and not to rush. We will most definitely go back at least once a year. The fishing was a challenge as we arrived on the end of a cold front, but managed to catch some beautiful bass, fish are wery well taken care of amd super healthy. This place is a gem and a must see if you like having a more relaxed and way less crowded camping trip.
Thank you David and Family for an unforgettable stay.

We had such a wonderful experience at this private campsite! From the moment we arrived, everything was peaceful, clean, and well taken care of. The site felt private and tucked away, giving us the perfect mix of relaxation and nature. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The grounds were spacious and quiet, with lots of room to set up comfortably. We especially love the sunset view in the evening and how they put a swing on a tree for kids to enjoy! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable, safe, and family-friendly space.
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway where you can enjoy nature without the crowds, this is the place to be. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a private camping experience.
