We have owned the property for 19 years. The camping area was once a gravel pit which was rehabilitated in 2020. There is agricultural land that is farmed in the summer as well we host bees at that back of the property . This property is also part of a hobby farm that is home to Nigerian Dwarf goats, calves, sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys and bunnies. For convenience, firewood and farm fresh eggs can be provided at a small fee. Due to a 50% increase in hipcamp fees late in 2025, all extras are can now be purchased directly from the host but are unfortunately no longer offered directly through the app at this time.

Very close to all the great stuff available at this part of Bruce peninsula. We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. The campsite consists of an acre of groomed grass snuggled up against a vast forest and a frog pond with lots of activities to enjoy.The campsite is only 15 minutes from Port Elgin and Southampton. Beautiful sunsets from our open Meadow by a spring-fed pond. Lots of wildlife, butterflies and wildflowers!We have one site available for tent and RV campers. We provide a toilet, potable water and a picnic table. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban, pets are welcome.The forests are full of foraging options that might be of interest to some campers. Very close to rivers for those who love canoeing. 15 minutes from amazing beaches on Lake Huron in both Port Elgin and Southampton. Sauble Beach is less than 30 minutes away. Come enjoy this amazing part of Southern Ontario.

Winter has added costs due to snow plow. Snow plow cost varies from $50 - $250 depending on how much snow there is. The laneway is 1000 meters long. 1 kilometre. If the snow plow can't get in, you will be required to hike in through the snow. Potentially, a neighbour can be hired with his snowmobile. No guarantees. The cabin is perfect for a family looking to get away from it all. You will be able to enjoy all that nature has to offer from the cabin's central location. Hiking trails, beaches, wildlife, and snowshoeing are just a few of the activities located nearby. NOT SUITED FOR LARGE GROUPS.
In the winter, you will be able to go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing and enjoy a cozy evening reading by the woodstove. You will also be able to enjoy all the beauty of nature during the summer months with hiking trails, beaches, kayaking, and more!
The cabin is located along the Saugeen River, just north of 700 acres of managed trails in Bruce County, Ontario. Our property is 85-acres (40 acres is farmed).
We are only 20-minutes from beaches and world-class sunsets in Port Elgin, Saugeen Shores, and Southampton.
WINTER: Ski-In-Ski-Out. Road access is limited for extreme seclusion! The cabin is 1km off the main road. Plowing, if needed, will be at your own expense!
HUNTERS WELCOME! 85-acres of Sugarbush. Next to 700 acres of public trails called Brant Tract.
Please note, the people limit for the listing is 6 people.
***PACK IN, PACK OUT. Guests must take all garbage with them when they leave. Any trash left will result in a $50 charge per bag. Seriously. I had to sort through people's trash/recycling in the past. Not doing that again!!!

This was a magical and tranquil camping escape. The waterfront spot was perfectly quiet and peaceful. The clear skies and zero light pollution provided phenomenal stargazing nightly. Camping at Angela's hipcamp was the perfect start to our weekend of canoeing/fishing!
The site was perfect! Right infront of the saugeen river. You can fish right at your site if you like fishing, just a few steps down to the shore line. There was a picnic table provided, which was fantastic! The fire pit is set up right under a clearing where you can see millions of stars on a clear night, it was beautiful and so peaceful. Nice even ground for your tent. Very relaxing atmosphere and as felt very private. Its a beautiful property. We added firewood to our booking, we definitely recommend doing that! We couldn't believe the amount of wood she left right on site for us! It burned so nicely and there was an abundance! She made our trip so easy and so relaxing! We will absolutely return with our kids next time!
