We have owned the property for 19 years. The camping area was once a gravel pit which was rehabilitated in 2020. There is agricultural land that is farmed in the summer as well we host bees at that back of the property . A unique feature on the property is a natural spring that bubbles up and feeds the two streams on the property.

We (my dog Onyx & I) had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful A-frame cabin! It’s the perfect mix of cozy and peaceful, surrounded by nature and all the little details that make it feel special. The host’s kindness and hospitality truly stood out — they even gifted us some fresh raw honey and venison steak, which was such a thoughtful surprise. We also loved how dog-friendly the cabin was! Our Great Dane joined me for the trip and was welcomed with open arms (and plenty of space to stretch out). It’s not easy finding places that accommodate giant breeds so comfortably, and this one was perfect. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with warm hosts, beautiful scenery, and a truly personal touch. We can’t wait to come back!

Very lovely spot! Quiet & very tucked away. This made it one of my best hip camp experiences by far, plus the wild life was active saw about 6 deers I think white tailed. Killbear provincial park is 45 min away nice trails & views ! Along with hatchery trail/waterfall. Amazing time! Nice way to end the summer! Thanks David!!

We stayed in the A-frame cabin. Super cozy, well insulated space. The bed was enough for two small adults (or you could use the second mattress provided). The land itself is secluded but has convenient access to local towns. Sites on the property are well spaced out. The cabin is the most out in the open, the outhouse being closest to the cabin. You may see other people briefly. The owners property is up the road and they were only a text away if we needed help with something! The fire pit area was large and the wood shed was easy to access. Overall we enjoyed our time there and are open to returning!

The property is gorgeous and well maintained, with a lovely spot for a campfire, peaceful woodland walks, and stunning stargazing. A highlight was the unforgettable pizza experience — making and baking our own pizzas was such a treat! Thank you, Sue and Brent, for your warm hospitality and for opening your beautiful property to campers. We hope to be back one day.

We absolutely loved staying at Susan and Brents! The A frame was the perfect little upgrade for us from our usual tent camping. Brent was incredibly hospitable, ensuring we had everything we needed to be comfortable for the weekend. He even gifted us some local honey, which was delicious! The sites are quite private, with some people passing by occasionally to access the wood shed or outhouses, but far enough away that you have privacy and aren't disturbed by any noises. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

The amount of space and trails available at this camp was exceptional. Our stay was secluded and peaceful. The A frame was perfect for the 2 of us and 2 dogs. We met some very friendly day visitors who also expressed their love for this property. Hosts were friendly and easy to deal with. And went above by leaving a lil bday surprise and some fresh picked fiddleheads to boot. We are in the works planning our next getaway at this location for each season to come! Thanks for your hospitality. See you again soon ☺️

We stayed in the A Frame cabin, it's very cute and cozy. They had a propane heater to keep you warm in the evening and it is well insulated. You're perfectly tucked in between field and forest. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Lots of little trails on the grounds to explore and in the surrounding area. Sat outside at night and watched the stars. We drove 20mins to Kinghurst Nature Reserve, definitely worth checking out as well. Highly recommend and look forward to going back again.
