Blueberry Run Trail RV Site

Learn more about this land: 1 private premium site for a self contained RV, Travel Trailer or Camper Van on private land with no other campers near you. No Tenting or car camping permitted. (This is not a campground. There is only 1 site.) The site has a potable water tap, 20 amp electrical outlet and free WiFi at the site. If you require black water service, a portable tank is available to book in the addon section of your booking. The tank can hold 80 litres or 21 Gallons. If you require more black water capacity, you can add an extra dump for an extra fee and we will empty the tank and return it for the extra dump. Gray Water can be released into the drain on-site for the shower, sink water discharge etc. The site is a solid gravel covered surface that is level. There is a gravel pad section in front of the site that has a picnic table and a fire pit. Firewood is available for sale and will be delivered to the site upon request. There is also a hardtop gazebo on a wood deck platform that has mosquito netting for added comfort. The Trans Canada trail is in front of the site where you can walk, bike, ATV or horseback ride. Porters Lake, Lawrencetown Beach, Porters Lake shopping center and restaurants are only 10 minutes away. 20 minute drive to Dartmouth or 40 minutes to downtown Halifax. There is also a café within walking distance called Rose to Rooster. Park your rig and explore the trails, beaches, lakes and hidden gems this community has to offer. Bring your outdoor games, bikes and your camping chairs and let your adventure begin with us. If you surf, we are a surfing destination and we welcome surfers to stay with us and be close to the action (within 10 minutes.) The site and community is L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ safe and everyone is welcome. Cannabis is legal here and can be purchased at the local Provincial NSLC location in Porters Lake. Come enjoy our boondocking site located in Chester Basin on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Close to Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenberg. Just a short drive off of the 103 brings you to our secluded 2 acre wooded property suitable for trailers or RV’s up to 30 feet. We provide a level trailer pad with 8x16 deck and picnic table. Your site is exclusive and overlooks a small lake with access for canoes or kayaks. The lake has trout and bass in it and abundant wildlife including a couple of beavers. You are not far from the Rail Trail which is great for cycling or hiking. Some great restaurants are close by such as the Seaside Shanty. Book a visit to the Sensea Nordic Spa in Chester while you are here or just enjoy the serenity of your own little paradise. There is a fire pit but please bring your own wood or purchase nearby. You can be at the Bay of Fundy within 15 minutes. We are a 4 minute drive to the Annapolis Valley Exhibition grounds. With so many beaches, wineries, orchards, restaurants, trails and waterways nearby - you won't run out of things to do! Enjoy your morning coffee while the sun rises over the North Mountain, and if you're lucky a sighting of the deer that frequent the property. After a busy day spent exploring the valley, enjoy gazing up at the milky way (star gazing is incredible here with some of the darkest skies in North America) next to a crackling campfire. Fall asleep to the sounds of our brooks' gentle burbling, and coyotes howling in the distance. Each campsite has it's own firepit and picnic table . There is a shared XL sparkling clean portable toilet with solar lights for night-time access. Walk across our babbling brook to enjoy a rustic, hot shower in the woods. For those of you not looking to venture too far afield, there we have walking trails throughout the property, trout fishing in one of our brooks, and a tiny swimming hole if you'd like to take a dip. For nearby adventures, you'll find a brewery, winery, restaurant and trailhead located less than 5 minutes down the road. Horseback riders are welcome to bring their horses camping! Horse shelter with attached corral is available to rent separately. Enjoy riding our trails and make use of our cross country jumps and trail obstacles.

You’ll have access to potable water and an outhouse on this property. Campfires are allowed. For RV-ers, the pull-in space is large enough to accommodate up to 100 feet in length on a grassy surface. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. The campsite is about a 1-km hike to an 1850s off-grid farmhouse. Nature lovers might want to check out Cookville Provincial Park on the LaHave River, about 15 km away; stop by Fire Brook Falls on the West Branch LaHave River along the way. You can find plenty of food options, shops, and services in Bridgewater, or you can head to the waterfront town of Mahone Bay about 15 km to the east.
