Our amenities also include: fishing rods, comfy beds, fresh drinking-water, refrigerator, 2 bathroom facilities, a hot outdoor shower, walking trails, microwave, and AC. The boat can sleep 5 guests, but a private raised glamping tent is provided for overflow if required.
Off property you will find: auto race watching (at Riverside raceway), hiking, biking, ocean fishing, and shopping activities. Downtown Antigonish is but a ten minute drive. The famous Highland Games comes in July along with the Lobster Festival in New Glasgow. The Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition runs from Aug 27-31.
Want to swim at St. FX University swimming pool? Day passes are sold at the university. Of course ocean swimming at one of the 19, nearby, beautiful area beaches is totally free for all, so get wet and splash in the sea!
Sure, you can sit inside and watch one of our many DVD movies, but instead why not : explore nature, take a walk through the woods, talk to your wife, or friend, play with the kids, or throw a ball for your dog? If you want to relax, visit the golf course in town or just chill on the comfy deck. Do you want to ride, your bike on mountain trails, fish, visit a lighthouse or a petting farm? We are Located within a five minute drive just outside of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, our property has over 2500 feet of oceanfront with a mixture of Sand, Pebble and Rock covered beaches. 1500 ft of our ocean front is mostly made up of 60ft high cliffs with trees for shelter from the wind and sun. We supply everything you need such as two prefabricated C-Can washroom / Shower Units with both of the washrooms having showers with running hot water. (Bring your own Soap and Shampoo) unlimited firewood, and running water to have an unforgettable Ocean Front RV/camping/tenting experience. Don’t come camping if you don’t have the following: 1. A hatchet or axe. 2. A flashlight. 3. Shelter (tent). We supply a the view, water access, washroom, shower and firewood we don’t teach people how to start a fire or give them lessons on what to bring camping.

Chris was a great host! He greeted us at the campsite on a rainy November night and had made sure to have a roaring fire for us when we got there despite all the rain! The views from The Point in the morning were beautiful - perfect spot to enjoy coffee & breakfast in the sun. Chris came to check in on us in the morning to make sure we had everything we needed.

This is an exceptional spot for off-grid camping. It is peaceful, secluded and with an amazing view across the river. Chris is a friendly host, with whom we had a great chat and learned about his family history on the land. Highly recommended!

The point of the point is the view, as there is no cell service [though they do hope to remedy that issue], and no washrooms. That said Chris and his mother were wonderful and hospitable. The view is jaw dropping, and that alone is worth the stay. Also an amazing place to get away from everything.

We absolutely loved camping at Summer Winds with our tent trailer! The beach and the pool were great and clean, as well as exceptionally clean spacious bathrooms. Wonderful spot to camp, grass/soft ground was really nice for tenting. Inground pool was very clean, kids loved it. Location was quiet, great shower and washroom facilities. Very close to many amazing beaches and not far from Charlottetown which is a fantastic city.

The facilities were exceptionally clean, and site #10 was in the perfect location—just the right distance from the pool and directly across from the washrooms. Cora and David were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our stay even better. Highly recommend!
