Dream Seed Farm

4 sites · RVs, Tents18 acres · Jemseg, NB
My dream has always been to have a farm to share all the beautiful abundance of life and lots of space to play. I am an avid gardner, so that's a big bonus to enjoy fresh veggies while staying here. Our new addition is a yurt with double bed, and table for enjoying meals to make camping easy. Since 2008, I have worked in my home studio sewing Hanging HUGS custom luxury hammocks and shipping them around the world to make the world a more cozy place. HUGS fund my world travels and humanitarian projects, teaching many people how to make hammocks. You can learn to sew your own hammock and enjoy it here. An expedition sea kayaker and expert rock climber with more than 20 years experience giving clients a unique look at our province, it's my pleasure to introduce you to my favourite spots. Our sailboat is spacious, comfortable and fun... ready when you are. We also own an off-grid camping area 45 minutes south and have made a hiking trail to an epic location which I have been developing for climbing over 10 years. Kayaks and fat bikes to rent... we can fill a week with outdoor activities and make memories you'll never forget. This farm is a school of life. I am happy to share what I have learned about growing food, and my wife is an amazing cook who can teach how to make Korean food. Lots to do to fill a week, or just kick back in a hammock for a day by the pond, writing journal to reflect, soaking in the peaceful feelings. Learn more about this land: 1800's homestead near Jemseg river where our sailboat is moored. Gardens are abundant, kayaking is beautiful, fishing is good, and swimming is great! Welcome home!

The Orchard - Bell Tent Glamping NB

4 sites · Lodging100 acres · Tay Creek, NB
Located only 25 minutes from Fredericton, NB, this sprawling old-growth apple orchard features 3 privately placed bell tents, a hot-tub, barbecues, and indoor lodge with kitchen, bathroom, games room, and library space. Described by a past guest as "something out of a fairytale", the orchard is defined by towering old-growth apple trees, a meandering brook with multiple bridge crossings, meadows brimming with lupins and golden rod, the remnants of stone fences from when the land was farmed, patches of wild berries, and a growing network of trails connecting all these enchanting elements. Perhaps even more beautiful after sunset, strings of fairy lights illuminate the paths to the tent sites and fireflies fill the void in between. An unofficial dark sky sanctuary, you will enjoy unparalleled views of the stars while your ears are treated to the distant calls of bullfrogs and the hoot of owls flying overhead. We look forward to welcoming you to the fairytale orchard!

BunnyBo Bayou Homestead

2 sites · Tents5 acres · Fredericton, NB
We have a few acres to enjoy on the south Oromocto river. You can go for walks, top water fishing, have a fire(😄🔥FIRE WOOD & FIRE STARTER INCLUDED🪵🔥😃), bird watching, nature, star gazing, and the sound of the river. Wildlife such as deer, ducks, beavers, otters, eagles and many others are frequent visitors. A turkey or chicken may wander over from the homestead some days too. 🦃🐔 It glitters most nights with hundreds of fireflies sparkling everywhere. There is a picnic table and fold up grill on site. Fresh eggs, bread, buns, and BBQ, are available upon request. Advanced notice for these and the shed/bunkie are appreciated please. Nearby there are ATV trails, ice cream, takeout restaurant, a variety store, 6 waterfalls. The water levels on the river increase and decrease according to seasons and rainfall. There are two houses by the river on the right and no houses to the left for over a km. There is a train that you can hear in the distance and some people noises some times, but mostly, paradise. 🤗

An outdoor enthusiast's dream, we offer unique vacation rentals which provide a camping experience with lots of extras, class and charm.  They are perfect retreats for couples, or for singles looking for a much-needed get-away.  Those who vacation here experience a mix of modern conveniences, along with some off-grid or old-fashioned rustic charm. SUPER BONUS:  Registered guests enjoy FREE use of our canoes and kayaks at our shore (depending on weather conditions). (Note that SWIMMING IS NOT ADVISED, as it is somewhat muddy/marshy, and shallow) ... but it's PERFECT for small watercraft. Hipcamp named us a runner-up for the best Hipcamp to visit in New Brunswick in 2023, and we look forward to providing a great experience in 2024! WHAT TO PACK:  Food and ice in a cooler, and your clothes!  You may also want to bring rubber boots or water shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray. FOR DETAILS ON WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH VACATION RENTALS, TAKE A LOOK AT THE INDIVIDUAL LISTINGS. We live on this property, and over the years we have enjoyed all it has to offer.  In 2021, we decided to give others the opportunity to enjoy it too! If you're looking for a place to enjoy nature and solitude.  THIS IS IT! To be candid, this IS NOT a party place!  So, if that's what you're looking for, this is definitely NOT for you!  Our goal is to provide a safe and peaceful place for our guests (and us) to Relax, Get Outdoors and Enjoy Nature, Get Back To Basics, and to Unplug and Unwind! Here at "The Old Canoe", we currently have two vacation rentals (Cabin 4, and "Main Street" the Bus).  These are available in the warmer months only.  We may add a couple more in the future, but our goal is to keep it small and quaint so that our guests have their space and enjoy their privacy. Cell phone service is very poor in this area, so it's a great opportunity to UNPLUG and get away from the daily hustle and bustle!  We do provide Free LIMITED Wi-Fi for registered guests who would like to check messages or emails, etc. This property has a variety of terrain, including clearings, forest, thickets, paths, maple groves, and the Cumberland Bay Stream which flows through marsh wetlands and empties into Grand Lake (the largest fresh water lake in New Brunswick).  It offers an abundance of wildlife, plant life, fresh air, tranquility, relaxation, and has the ideal setting for leisurely water sports such as canoeing, kayaking, row boating, or paddle boarding. During your stay, you might see birds such as woodpeckers, wild turkeys, ducks, geese, cranes, or eagles.  You may even catch a glimpse of foxes, deer, moose, otters, beavers, frogs, or turtles!  Don’t forget your camera! Have a siesta or read a book while relaxing in your hammocks.  Stroll through paths or the Shore Road, and Relax in various seating areas throughout our property. If you plan on going fishing, it is your responsibility to check with Natural Resources and Energy Development for license information.  We do not provide fishing gear. Cumberland Bay is a small community, centrally located between three major New Brunswick cities (Fredericton, Moncton, and Saint John).  It has it's own volunteer Fire Department, churches, and a small public wharf nearby (The Range Wharf). The nearby communities of Young's Cove, Waterborough, and Chipman are all within a 10 to 15 minute drive.  You'll find churches, convenience stores, gas bars, take-outs, local markets, public swimming, marina, and boat launch.  In your vacation rental, there is a Welcome Binder with detailed information about these places. Come to Cumberland Bay and experience this hidden gem of nature! Get back to the basics, Unplug, Unwind, Enjoy nature ... RELAX!
