Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know! Our property is located in Peachland, BC. We also get wild animals that come to visit every now and then; bear, cougar, lynx, coyote, deer and owl to name a few. There is a communal firepit and kitchen area, central between our current campsite and other future campsites. You can enjoy hiking on the High Rim Trail nearby or maybe an off road adventure. James Lake is only 11 kms away for some summer kayaking or paddle boarding and Big White is only 1/2 hour away hosting all the summer and winter fun!. Lots of beautiful areas to explore nearby. Our location tends to be 6°-10° cooler than in Kelowna, which is a welcome treat on those warm summer days. There is also, almost always a breeze. It has a lovely forest area, alongside sprawling fields that are dotted with beautiful wildflowers throughout Spring and Summer. Another delightful feature of our home is a swamp that displays a spectacular array of bird wildlife in the spring and early summer. A bird watcher’s dream! And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled! We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life. We are popular for family reunions and specialty gatherings such as card or game tournaments. Summer in the Okanagan. Welcome to a natural, convenient location with basic amenities on the West Kettle River! We have 300 acres including 1500 meters of river frontage with access to the surrounding crown land and KVR trail which runs through the property. We recommend arriving before dark so that you aren't complaining in a review how hard sites are to find at night, in the dark. Some sites may be overgrown generally a lawn mower is provided for your use. If you are looking for fully serviced campsites where the outhouse is closer than 250m, then you should just carry on! The KVR trail is the access to the property. From HWY 33 South, take the turn (West) onto Tuzo Main Road (about 7km's south of Beaverdell), then cross the wooden bridge over the Kettle River and take the first left onto the KVR trail (a long, straight flat gravel road) and follow for 1900meters. Mostly wide enough for one way traffic only, so please be patient and mindful of trail users on bikes, quads and vehicles. After driving down the KVR right of way about 1.2km, you will arrive at the farmhouse gates - there you will see a little sign for the campground on the tree, so keep going down the right away. Once you go another 600m or so, you will come to a homemade sign with an arrow pointing you left. Turn there and then make a quick right turn then follow the road. You will come to the large tree with a picnic table and two blue barrels marking site #10. Sites 1, 2, 3 ,4 are over at the river, the other RV sites 5, 6, 7, 8, can be any where around site 10 or in the loop. I can always bring the lawner mower over to cut the grass and weeds down just get a hold of me. We currently have 5 tent only sites on the river and 25 RV/Tent sites currently about 100m from the river. There are currently picnic tables with blue umbrellas for sites 1, 3, 4, 10. There is a small white table and chairs for site 2. RV's sites include sites #4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 - I can add many more RV sites. Just need to cut the grass/weeds. Fishing, hiking, exploring, bring your quads, dirt bikes. There's plenty of roads and trails ... Even a secret honey hole fishing spot not far away but that's hush hush only locals know about this gem. A camper told me recently he saw a massive fish (16+ inches), likely a rainbow in the Kettle.

Welcome to a natural, convenient location with basic amenities on the West Kettle River! We have 300 acres including 1500 meters of river frontage with access to the surrounding crown land and KVR trail which runs through the property. We recommend arriving before dark so that you aren't complaining in a review how hard sites are to find at night, in the dark. Some sites may be overgrown generally a lawn mower is provided for your use. If you are looking for fully serviced campsites where the outhouse is closer than 250m, then you should just carry on! The KVR trail is the access to the property. From HWY 33 South, take the turn (West) onto Tuzo Main Road (about 7km's south of Beaverdell), then cross the wooden bridge over the Kettle River and take the first left onto the KVR trail (a long, straight flat gravel road) and follow for 1900meters. Mostly wide enough for one way traffic only, so please be patient and mindful of trail users on bikes, quads and vehicles. After driving down the KVR right of way about 1.2km, you will arrive at the farmhouse gates - there you will see a little sign for the campground on the tree, so keep going down the right away. Once you go another 600m or so, you will come to a homemade sign with an arrow pointing you left. Turn there and then make a quick right turn then follow the road. You will come to the large tree with a picnic table and two blue barrels marking site #10. Sites 1, 2, 3 ,4 are over at the river, the other RV sites 5, 6, 7, 8, can be any where around site 10 or in the loop. I can always bring the lawner mower over to cut the grass and weeds down just get a hold of me. We currently have 5 tent only sites on the river and 25 RV/Tent sites currently about 100m from the river. There are currently picnic tables with blue umbrellas for sites 1, 3, 4, 10. There is a small white table and chairs for site 2. RV's sites include sites #4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 - I can add many more RV sites. Just need to cut the grass/weeds. Fishing, hiking, exploring, bring your quads, dirt bikes. There's plenty of roads and trails ... Even a secret honey hole fishing spot not far away but that's hush hush only locals know about this gem. A camper told me recently he saw a massive fish (16+ inches), likely a rainbow in the Kettle.

We were a group of 6 in 2 camper vans and a truck tent and the site by the gazebo was great. We enjoyed the views and got to wake up to horses grazing in the pasture. There was lots of space, it was flat, and there was a campfire ring right there. Good group camping spot. Ken was also so friendly and helpful. Such a great host. Charlie (the dog) came to visit as well, so we got to enjoy his company each day too. Would definitely stay here again!

Camp 1 handled our Class B. I rented both sites and our friends were introduced into Hipcamping using site 2. Their trailer a small to medium size fit easily there with a drive through setup. The two camps are closer together for RVs but further apart of tents campers. The camp property is a very short drive on a large dirt road. It is located at a 600 foot elevation above town, we decided not to ride the bikes to town due one rider uses a three wheel bike which needs more space. The condition was OK but could be checked for trash we try to pickup what was there. It was great having access to water being that this was our fourth stop on this trip. Great to be in the country with a sea of grapes and lake in you front view. We did see and hear turkeys and other wild life. The gate needed to be opened and closed it could use a tune-up.

Welcome to your rural escape! We have 2 RV pads available for guests with septic connections and potable water. Our property is located in the southern Okanagan highlands, with sunlight hours comparable to California! As it sits approximately 1200m elevation, guests can expect temperatures to be 7 to 10 degrees cooler than Osoyoos, which provides a nice escape from the desert heat. The property is 2km off Highway 3, so you can count on no road noise and great views! There are many recreational opportunities available in the area. Crown land is a 5 minute drive away. Conkle Lake is approximately 50 min drive for some excellent lake fishing. The Kettle River Recreation Area is where locals go to cool down while floating the river. Mt Baldy ski area is 40 minute drive with summer activities like scenic hiking, disc golf, horseshoes, volleyball and scenic chairlift rides. There are plenty of wildlife that come through, whitetail deer, coyotes, black bear, elk and the odd mule deer. Our local snowshoe hair and ground squirrels may give guests a surprise while having coffee in the morning. Across the road is a local park containing a small lake and marsh land, frequently the Red-winged Black birds can be heard singing. With only 2 pads occupied at a time, guests can expect to have the property mostly to them selves. We do have a tiny home near by that our family uses recreationally. There is a communal fire pit where guests can gather and share their adventure stories from the day. Bring your camp chair, we have the firewood provided! If there is a fire ban, guests are welcome to use their own CSA approved propane fire pits. Some local summer events include, Rock Creek Farmers Market May-October every Tuesday and Friday at Gyro Park and Rock Creek Fall Fair is the second weekend in September. The property is a quick 20 minute drive from South Okanagan wine country! Guests will be required to provide their own toilet with septic connection and pack out their garbage, there is no garbage collection on our property. Our sites are self check-in. We are available throughout your stay via HipCamp messages for any questions or assistance. We do have on-site assistance available in the case of an emergency or utility failure. There are hot showers and flush toilets for guest comfort but require a short walk to access. Campfires are banned but we provide propane cooking and living utensils. Embrace off-grid with minimal cell service and no wifi; instead allow nature to fill you. Although Okanagan nights cool down effectively, we have used science and shade in designing these rooms to dissipate heat. We provide fans and evaporative coolers when needed and offer our guests plenty of ice (provided in an insulated picnic chest) for those delicious summer drinks and storing food during your stay. Our country style welcome has guests coming back. Ask us about interacting with animals, our farm produce, gold panning and sluice box in Lucky Strike Creek, hammock rentals, E-bike rentals (Grandfondo runs right by our property), endless hiking, and more! Also, ask us for an update on when our pool will open (with wifi access)! Some guests want nothing to do and need all day to get it done. Within 10-15 minutes drive you will find dozens of wineries, District Wine Village, Tickleberrries ice cream parlor, golf, shopping, restaurants, Area 27 racing, lakes, etc. We caution you to carefully re-read this description of our unique space; most of our guests are looking to escape the city life, while some love a romantic getaway, but all appreciate nature. Learn more about this land: Fluffy Bunny Farms is a private 6-acre property located only 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna! It’s the perfect place to camp near Bear Creek Provincial Park and Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. We have 3 private campsites with stunning mountain views perfect for a small trailer, or self-contained camper van/tent. Guests can enjoy biking, fishing, hiking and wildlife watching all nearby. We also have a white sand volleyball court to relax and enjoy some friendly competition with your camping partner at the end of your day. Please note that there are no amenities available at the campsite. Campers will need to have a self-contained vehicle and leave no trace. We are dog friendly and request that dogs remain under their owner's control at all times and on leash. We do not allow campfires as our home burned down last year in the McDougal Creek fire as well as a lot of the neighbourhood so we don’t allow any fires or smoking cigarettes on the property. We will be building our new home during the summer but the build is a bit away from where the sites are so it shouldn’t be an issue. But this is forwarded as we know that this is a priority for us as so we won’t stop building even if we have campers, so we just want everyone to know this in advance!
