very rural, take supplies
We stayed here in May 2017
There is a decent sized water crossing to get to this camp, so depending on the time of year you might want to make a plan B. Coming from the north through Erbie seems to be the most reliable way to get in. If you can't make it to the campground, there are a couple of tent camping spots with picnic tables and outhouses to use. Be sure to check out the old church just before the trailhead!
There is a decently marked horse trail that we hiked along. Lots of foliage (so lots of ticks). If you're on foot and feeling adventurous look up the Thunder Canyon Falls offshoot for a gorgeous, secluded waterfall.
Remote and secluded. Long-ish trip on dirt road to get to camp ground
