Enveloped by the hardwoods of the Talladega National Forest, perfumed by the crisp air swept from Coleman Lake, Coleman Lake Recreation Area is geared toward the more claustrophobic camper. With no group sites to speak of, this recreational area sits just yards from the area’s namesake lake. And, with campsites in “the comfort station” being easily accessible to the physically handicapped, there’s little in the way from stopping you from taking a trek out!
