Description
Life moves really fast, but at Lake Kegonsa, you’ll find the opposite. Nearly all of the family campground sites sit deep in woods (1-9 and 87-93 are only partially wooded), with trails crisscrossing throughout, and can accommodate tents, pop-ups, trailers and recreational vehicles. Travelling with a competitive crew? Grab a site at the group camp, and you’ll find a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit and ball field just steps away—and the lake just a few steps further.

Beautiful sunsets, lovely lake, but you can hear the interstate at night in the campground. A nearby railroad sets off coyotes (and I swear I heard a wolf) just before a train approaches, which is cool. Pets are allowed.
