Louella Cabin

If you’re someone who wants their nature without a side of dirt, Louella Cabin is hard to beat. Set in the beautiful Buckhorn Wilderness, the four-room cabin fits six and has all the comforts of home – living room and futon, two bedrooms (double and twin bunks), fully equipped kitchen, electricity, lights and a propane heater. There’s no running water, but there is a potable toilet outside – you should bring any lines, toiletries, garbage bags, etc., you’ll need. While you could spend the weekend hibernating in the cabin, the wilderness will be calling your name with 58 miles of trails for backpacking, horseback riding, hunting, mountain climbing and hiking. The nearby Dungeness River is a favorite for fishers, too – chinook, coho and a unique pink salmon.
