Hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, and battle reenactments? The beautiful Kings Mountain State Park is conveniently located next to a historical Revolutionary War Battlefield. The park also contains Piedmont Farm, a replica 1880s farm that offers self-guided tours throughout the summer and living history days on the weekends. So if you ever wanted to learn how to spin yarn or milk a cow, this is the place to do it. The small campground offers equestrian facilities and private, wooded sites for tents and RVs.
