A popular place for hunters stalking deer and turkey, this primitive campground is also an awesome place to wake up at. Situated in an upland pine and oak forest, Honey Hill is the kind of place you fall in love with over and over again.

FREE. No connections, but well-marked sites, and a sketchy outhouse. Old abandoned fire tower marks the spot. Several trails leading out of the camp. Close to McClellanville (historic shrimping community). Close to Charleston.
