Learn more about this land: Beautifully landscaped, super safe, all full hook up RV Park located along Brooks Run Creek! The only park in Louisville Kentucky with creek front and or concrete pad sites. We are conveniently located just 1.8 miles from I-65 at the Brooks exit 121 just 3 miles south of the Louisville's outer loop for easy access to all Louisville, KY has to offer . Far enough away from the Freeway so there is no road noise. There are 2 nice golf courses within 3 miles. South Park Country Club and The Crossings Golf Course is adjacent to the park. We are located near shopping, restaurants, Churchill Downs, Downtown Louisville, the bourbon distillery trail, and many other attractions. Many are under 8 miles away. Come visit us! Daily rates for full hookup starting at $55 a night, weekly starting at $245-$33and monthly rates start at $495-$925 for the creek front with concrete pad sites. We are the only RV Park in the Louisville area offering all full hookup creek front and concrete pad sites! We also offer over-sized, pull through sites, and a combo of creek front concrete pad, oversized, hill side, and pull through sites. (All rates include tax and electric except our monthly). All sites include water, sewer, dumpster service on lot 62, lawn care and monitored security cameras in beautiful and very safe park. All sites are 50 amp, and we have 50 to 30 amp adapters for sale for a $25 fee. Currently there is limited Wi-Fi available through the park but especially near the office on lot 50, if you need it, ask the Manager to put you near it because we are trying to provide a radiation free area for our Manager and guests. Enjoy the beautiful new landscaping in this Resort like RV Park with twinkly lights that come on throughout the night and we have a beautiful winding creek with creek front sites. The park has paved roads, concrete pads. This is a big rig park that can handle coaches as large as 50 feet. Because we are conveniently located in the greater Louisville metropolitan area, please know there is a nearby train track that comes by a few times a day, but you get use to it, and we are only 8 miles from the Louisville International airport, but there is no freeway noise which can be very loud. We do not have bath or shower houses, or a pool, but we do have laundry facilities on site. There are showers within 2 miles at the Pilot gas station on I-65. We strive to offer excellent customer service, so please feel free to call if you have any issues! We have an on-site Assistant Manager. Annie is located on lot 12a, and you can reach her after you arrive by calling (502) 276-6090, or look for Annie working in the park. For long term RV guests, we require RVs to be 10 years or newer. We do give variances to some Airstream and restored classic RVs with a picture pre-approval by Management plus there is a free application see our website for an application on the banner.

Dreaming of the lake life? Hit the beach and waters of Deam Lake State Recreation Area in southern Indiana. The 194-acre lake serves as a backdrop—or focal point—for a range of outdoor activities. Paddle around quiet coves or hit the open waters in a larger boat (electric motors are allowed). Relax in the sands on the swim beach. Not far from the waters, the campground has over 100 campsites for RVs and tents and 19 Rent-a-Camp cabins. This place is a horse-lover’s dream (appropriate for its location just outside of Louisville, Kentucky), offering equestrian campsites with facilities for your horses to camp, too.

Notable campgrounds

Best for horse lovers: Deam Lake State Recreation Area’s equestrian campsites come with a hitching post or horse stall.
Best for cabin campers: If you aren’t sure about the whole tent camping experience and don’t have an RV, try out one of Deam Lake State Recreation Area’s Rent-a-Camp cabins.

Tips for snagging a campsite

Campsites may be reserved up to six months in advance through Reserve America or the Indiana State Park website or by phoning 1-866-622-6746.
All sites have electric hookups. Water is not available at individual campsites, but spigots are located in the campground.
The campground is open year round, with limited services from November through April. Water spigots may be shut off and modern restrooms closed during these months. Water service resumes in the spring based on weather forecasts.
Advanced reservations are recommended for weekends and holidays.

When to go

Though Deam Lake State Recreation Area is located in Indiana, the park is fewer than 20 miles from Louisville, Kentucky. The Kentucky Derby brings a lot of excitement to the region the first Saturday each May, which might make it a great time to come to Deam Lake or a bad time, depending on your preferences. Summer is the primary peak season, thanks to plentiful lake activities. Expect hot and humid weather. Temperatures are cooler in spring and fall, with winter bringing freezing weather and the chance for snow.

Know before you go

Rowboats and kayaks may be rented onsite between Memorial Day and Labor Day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The swim beach is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Camping cabins rentals are also available in the park.
RVers should come prepared for leveling, as campsites may be sloped.
