Description
This is Summer at Evangola State Park Campground: sunning on the natural sand beach on Lake Erie, shootin’ hoops, pick-up soccer, the annual Pirate Festival, tennis, a stop at the restaurant for a glamping treat, and last but not least the annual Tomato Festival. This is Winter: snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, warming up in the rec hall, heading over to Niagara Falls for a day trip. Come any time of year and pick any site--we’re getting mildly jealous just thinking of the amazing time you’re gonna have.

Not my cup of tea! Most campsites were open on a big lawn. Campground is elevated from shore, although the lake is a short walk away. Privacy was lacking. Beach was a bit dirty, with garbage washed up on shore. Dogs are not permitted on the beach, but we were able to sneak the dog in for a swim. Restrooms & showers were nice though!!
