Drop your stuff off one of M-K Campground's simple sites and be on your merry way to the hiking trails that are quite close by! You'll need to come equipped with your own plan for drinking water and trash removal, though there are vault toilets for your use. You may also want to fish, setup a picnic, or spot wildlife while you're here, and given the freeing feeling folks tend to experience while out 'n' about in nature, you’ll likely be shouting TGIF as you explore over to Rock Creek—even if it ain't Friday.
