Prairie Campground

There will be 3 miles of grave road, with prairie on each side of you. Be aware of the animals that may pass through as you travel to the campsites. There are signs to indicate where to go that are well marked. You can pick out of four campsites to choose from, each quite large with a fire pit and a picnic table. Restrooms are available between campsite 3 and 4. If you want to hike, there is a hiking trail passed the visitor's center about 1 1/2 miles from the campsites. Embrace the sounds of nature at hand, as you will hear the coyotes, raccoons and other creatures of the night. Bison is another encounter you will see while staying here. Head over to the visitors center if you want the exact location of them.
