The cabins were a great place to get away from the business of life as it’s on a very peaceful part of land with little traffic, the only con was it got a little hard to sleep in the cabin at night due to the crickets inside the hut hidden somewhere. But in the end it was a fantastic experience & stay at roosters cabin!!!

Slow down and relax
Jeff was an awesome host. Everything that we needed for a relaxing enjoyable time was already on site. The farm is about 15 minutes from Mondovi which has a nice grocery and liquor store. There is a full-stocked kitchen, bed linens and surprise! Internet! Perfect place to wander about, admiring the rolling hills and peaceful landscape. It felt very private and secluded. Fantastic stargazing as well! Thank you to our host for the firewood and clean comfortable stay.

This place is a gift! I loved the cordwood cabins, the location, the scenery, the tea :) (Sacred Blossoms). Great place to get focused work done while basking in the glory of western Wisconsin. So peaceful and rejuvenating! I will definitely be returning.

What an incredible location! I wish we could have stayed for a week. We met Jeffrey at his farm and he gave us the tour (it's currently being used to grow herbs that are used for tea) and then he walked us over to the cabins which are on a private, adjacent lot. My husband and I have always been infatuated with DIY tiny homes and Jeffrey was happy to answer all of our questions about the cordwood cabins and the building process. We were definitely inspired! I would highly recommend a stay here and I'm itching to go back!
