Quiet, peaceful but old and rundown
Waddi Bush is a very quiet and peaceful spot which we absolutely loved.
Unfortunately the facilities are not as advertised. No camp kitchen or cooking equipment, no BBQ (although we were told one can be made available), the pool is out of action with no intention of repair, the shower and toilet block is extremely dirty and unmanaged.
Children's play equipment was dangerous (eg:swing set was missing a leg) fortunately we didn't have children so for us this wasn't an issue.
Prices for staying need some serious attention as they do not reflect the state of despair the camp is in.
We booked Cabin 3 which we can't rate at all as this cabin is lived in full time by a farm worker. This meant we were 'upgraded' to a self contained chalet as the hosts had no other option for us anyway.
Noah and Lydia were lovely, friendly and would be willing to help in any situation. They were prompt to answer all messages I sent and helped out with the chromecast so we could watch a movie with no hesitation.
Definitely a missed opportunity at this camp as the potential is through the roof. Just needs some serious TLC.
We were able to take our quad bike which was a bonus being able to explore the surroundings and have a little bit of fun in the outdoors on that!
