Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Come along to Karaoke at the Restaurant every Saturday night!!! Our camping set-up is a work in progress so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Also, stay tuned for our glamping option yet to come :) Currently Adults only, no children. If you book during the week (Monday to Thursday) please arrive before 7:30pm and make sure you give us a call to we know you are coming, we don't always check these messages. Thank you :)

Summer Creek Farm Camping
Basic camping with a brewery !
Basic camping at its best. You’re in a field, there’s a brewery that’s owned and ran by the same lovely people like 2 minutes from where you’re camping. Toilets are in the pub, late night toilets are a bit of a walk, maybe 5-7 minutes back to the road. Just an FYI. Sunday roast was exceptional.

We had a lovely stay at Summer’s Creek! The owners looked after us so well and they were extremely welcoming! We had delicious wood-fired pizzas and amazing hand crafted beers. We had the pleasure of meeting their gorgeous dogs Sooty and Fea who greeted us in the morning with lots of cuddles. The land is gorgeous and peaceful even on an overcast day. We would recommend Summer’s Creek to anyone who enjoys a rustic and personable stay!

Easy, happy and inspiring
I live in Perth and wanted a change of scenery for the long weekend. I’m so glad I chose to stay here. The property is stunning with lots of funny animals roaming about and the hosts were so warm i felt like I was visiting family. It’s a small family run project they’ve got going and it was refreshing and inspiring to see what they have and are creating and achieving together. I chilled, read books, drank beer from the on site micro brewery and ate amazing pizza (highly recommend the vegan pizza). I also met other friendly campers and we shared some good laughs. I’ll definitely return and I recommend you pop in too!

Camping in 100 acres !!!
Family runned gem just an hour away from CBD, camped for 2 nights, it was amazing. Place itself has a history, has it own brewery, woodfired pizza and more on the menu, karaoke on Sundays, also consist of farm animals. Perfect spot for daytrip, camping and can also be reserved for private functions. Will definitely be back and thank you for the wonderful experience. 🙏☮️❤️.

Not great but not bad either
Upon arrival I was greeted by a lady, she showed me where to drive through, where the toilets and showers were and got back inside. She didn’t seem overly excited with my arrival and mentioned the owner (forgot her name) wasn’t there, maybe that’s why she wasn’t stoked? Anyway I proceeded to drive across the somewhat bumpy paddock and installed myself, first thing to notice was some big piles of 💩 and a lot of flies surrounding the premises, when it gets dark they get swapped for mosquitoes…also lots of them. Like other people have mentioned the roads are nearby and you’ll hear a lot of traffic passing, the morning starts at 04:00 when a rooster starts screaming for attention, followed up by some geese and more traffic. There’s not a lot of shade but the view is quite nice and a clear sky at night is well worth the visit! I’m personally more into secluded campsites and didn’t visit the famous restaurant, on my way out the gate was locked as their horse was plotting to escape, the same lady from the beginning seemed agitated as I asked her for help with keeping the horse inside. I feel this is a nice getaway from the city for people that don’t want to travel too far or spend a lot of money. Overall I’m happy I stayed here but wouldn’t come back (maybe for the restaurant though).

Rustic camping at its best.
Summer Creek is a lovely spot with fantastic owners who are always inviting and accommodating. The venue features an awesome microbrewery, local wine and some of the best pizza I have eaten.
