Summer Creek Farm Camping
Not great but not bad either
Upon arrival I was greeted by a lady, she showed me where to drive through, where the toilets and showers were and got back inside.
She didn’t seem overly excited with my arrival and mentioned the owner (forgot her name) wasn’t there, maybe that’s why she wasn’t stoked? Anyway I proceeded to drive across the somewhat bumpy paddock and installed myself, first thing to notice was some big piles of 💩 and a lot of flies surrounding the premises, when it gets dark they get swapped for mosquitoes…also lots of them. Like other people have mentioned the roads are nearby and you’ll hear a lot of traffic passing, the morning starts at 04:00 when a rooster starts screaming for attention, followed up by some geese and more traffic. There’s not a lot of shade but the view is quite nice and a clear sky at night is well worth the visit! I’m personally more into secluded campsites and didn’t visit the famous restaurant, on my way out the gate was locked as their horse was plotting to escape, the same lady from the beginning seemed agitated as I asked her for help with keeping the horse inside. I feel this is a nice getaway from the city for people that don’t want to travel too far or spend a lot of money. Overall I’m happy I stayed here but wouldn’t come back (maybe for the restaurant though).

Summer Creek Farm Camping
Rustic camping at its best.
Summer Creek is a lovely spot with fantastic owners who are always inviting and accommodating. The venue features an awesome microbrewery, local wine and some of the best pizza I have eaten.

Summer Creek Farm Camping
We had a lovely weekend here, our hosts were so welcoming, their pizzas are amazing, and with a brewery, bakery and bbq restaurant within walking distance, Bakers Hill has everything for a great weekend getaway.

Summer Creek Farm Camping
Truck and traffic noise from Great Eastern Hwy was constant and loud. Expensive camping for lack of convenient amenities. 7 minute walk in the dark outside the property gates to use public toilets in a rest area, this meant I left my child alone at the camp site while I went to the public toilet, did not feel safe about this.
The restaurant is charming, food was delicious and the service was friendly. There were chickens, sheep, kangaroos so you felt further away from Perth than you were.

Summer Creek Farm Camping
Not equipped for the average camper
This Camp Site needs proper Hot/cold showers, as well as male and female toilets you can only use a toilet whilst the brewery is open then you have to walk to the main road after that or use the toilet in the bush. Both Saturday and Sunday they only open at 11am it could be such a lovely spot if the owners actually put a little effort into it
