The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rocklicffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. You can choose to book one of our newly levelled bays where you will be amongst the vines, or you can park your van or pitch your tent in the paddock opposite the cellar door during summer when it is dry. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the kids to Gelato and Fudge. We offer Cheese & Meat Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 12-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays. We have 5 newly levelled gravel sites that run up the side of the vineyard and a 6th site at the rear of the main carpark, below the levelled bays. As the sites are not numbered when you arrive you can pick whatever site is available. If all 5 gravel sites alongside the vineyard are taken you will need to park on the gravel just below the levelled bays. During the summer when it is dry you can park your van or pitch your tent in the paddock across from the cellar door which is our overflow camping area if the levelled bays are booked out. There are no facilities, so you will need to be self-contained with your own camp toilet and take all waste with you when you go.  The land is gently undulating, so you may require leveling with chocks.  The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the kids to Gelato and Fudge.

Thanks for the great stay!
We had a nice spot next to the beautiful wine rakes in the midst of the green landscape surrounding the estate. We started off with some very delicious wines and a nice chat with Steve. Reading all the great reviews about the Rockcliffe pizza we decided to go for dinner. Pizza was amazing & steve is super friendly and fun. Overall very pleasant experience and highly recommended. P.S. the fudge = very yummy

What a way to relax under the vines
Loved camping amongst the vines at Rockcliffe -beautiful views and wake ups and an easy ride into town. Particularly enjoyed relaxing with some wines and pizzas at the main building at the end of a busy day.

Piece of Paradise
Super happy I chose Rockcliffe as my first Hipcamp destination… such a magical, serene setting!! My dog and I throughly enjoyed exploring the property together and losing ourselves in the beauty. I found Steve to be incredibly kind and welcoming and my dog loved his complimentary ear scratches. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us so generously. We hope to return someday. 👣🐾

Loved the camping at Rockcliffe Winery. Great Host. Lovely wine. Great views and walks with the dog. Sites are far enough apart. Close to Denmark and all the sights and walks, beaches. Will come again

Amazingly set up camp ground with each site being very even, spaced out, excellent solar exposure and a stunning uninterrupted view of the vines. Some good thought put into this camp ground. The easiest check in experience ever! So close to Denmark town and easily accessible to all local attractions. The best raspberry Gelato at the cellar door and of course beautiful wines and a generous pour wine tasting! Plenty of grass for the kids to burn their energy.
