Cath, Dave and family welcome you to their working Cattle Station, conveniently located on the Great Northern Highway, 12k’s North East of Cue, and open all year. Almost halfway between Perth and the Karijini National Park, making it the ideal stopover. Nallan Station incorporates the Miners Pathway and Milly Soak, it is close to several other historic and natural attractions and has an international reputation for its bird life. Accommodation choices include a recently renovated Shearers Quarters including kitchen facilities, our fantastic self-contained Homestead sleeping up to 9 people, and our lawned Caravan and Camping sites with their undercover BBQ area and fire pit. Nallan is a great place to relax and an ideal base to spend a few days experiencing gold rush history and remarkable natural attractions. Nallan is an Aboriginal word meaning "Good Eating' with reference to bountiful lake environment of Nallan Lake, the large clay pan lake on the station where wildlife watered. Nallan Station was originally named Poplar Downs around the turn of last century. The main homestead was built in 1920, the shearers' quarters a few years later. The Nallan Station Homestead has historic significance as one of the early pastoral stations established in the Cue district.

Shearers Quarters - Double Room
Great overnighter on the way up to Karajini. Stayed in the shearer’s quarters which was a clean room, was able to feed the pigs and check out the sheep and donkey in the afternoon.

A hidden gem
We had a level site, neat and tidy. We were made extremely welcome. You can have a fire. The camp kitchen was full of antique gems & history. The BBQ area had a fire roaring. You can purchase small amenities & coffee machine. Clean & tidy bathroom facilities with hot showers. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back again.

Great station stay - kid friendly
We loved Nallan Station - the sites were a good size and plenty of options, and amenities such as a laundry were useful ($4 per load). We liked the half day trip to explore Nallan Caves and Marlene (camp host) was lovely. Great for kids with plenty to see - sheep, a donkey, pigs, cattle and chickens.
