This property has been in the Shine family for many generations. The property has primarily been used for beef cattle farming, although in the early 2000's was shortly used to milk sheep, along with corn cropping. Currently the farm is home to roughly 100 breeders so you might be lucky enough to see a few cute little calves running around.Roeland's Lookout Retreat is nestled away in a tranquil and quiet location. The location is situated on a working beef cattle farm. Our "Lookout" site is located at the top of the property and gives a stunning view of the whole farm We are also just 20 minutes from Bunbury where you can find plenty of beautiful beaches and sites to explore. Campers are required to be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the evenings, pending there are no restrictions in place at the time of your stay. Whether you're looking for a great place to stop for the night if your on your way down south, or make a family weekend out of it, come see what's on offer. **Please note, there is no access to the river from this site, there is a small creek at the bottom of the hill but don’t mistake this for the river, this is only accessible with our “riverside” site.

Fantastic place!! Easy to find. I would however recommend a 4wd in winter as the spot is quite wet and sloppy

The Lookout
Absolutely amazing campsite and extremely easy to get to. The property is absolutely beautiful overlooking the valley and hearing the sounds of the cows as well as the surrounding wildlife is something truly amazing. The campsite is also nice and close to Australind So if you ever forget anything, you can always stop by and grab whatever you need. Absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone looking to get away.

Camping in a wet muddy enviroment
Had an interesting stay. It rained most of the time and camp site was very wet and muddy in certain spots but wasn’t too bad. I did get my car and van stuck but had plenty of time to work out a recovery, still the peace and quiet was wonderful.

Absolutely stunning view! Amazing site with lots of things to explore for kids: hills, trees, creek, fields and cows. Peaceful and quiet spot with magnificent lookout. We definitely will be coming back.
