Kangamia is a beautiful re-vegetated permaculture-style property planted over 35 years. Plantings include; Two hardwood timber plantations, a beautiful oak grove, a lovely olive grove, a bambooserie, citrus and macadamia orchards, and of course, the picturesque dam. The property is home to amazing bird life and absolute tranquility. Our location also offers the most magical starry skies on a clear night. It's a total escape from the worries of the world. Well-behaved four-legged friends are allowed to stay too! Just please ensure they don't don't chase the wildlife or our sheep.Dam View Bamboo Site is a picturesque and private location surrounded by shade trees, open areas, olive trees, a dam view, bamboo grove, abundant bird life and flat areas for tents and caravans. The property is also our home, so we expect you to respect our privacy and not walk around near our house up the hill from the campsite. There is also a second house on the property which is another private space.

Watching the wind blow, for hours, across the dam was incredibly relaxing. I enjoyed a morning walk each day through the trees and gazing up at the stars.l each night. Thank you for sharing your space.

Great dam view
The campsite was beautiful with a great dam view. It was a disappointing start when we turned up and there was someone else there on a solo camp site, who said they asked to extend their stay and the owner said it was okay, even though we had booked it for that night. Understandably, this camper was quite upset and left and the owner said she forgot to mention it and thought it would be okay, without any communication. Other than that, I would recommend this camp site.

Lovely setting by the dam in the olive grove with great views all around. Excellent site and good for our two small dogs too. Also close enough to local towns - Bridgetown, Nannup for daytime excursions. Golden Valley Arboretum a highlight.

Great time
We had a wonderful time took my grandkids and had some awesome bonding and made great memories. We felt like we were alone and it was peaceful loved the Birds in the morning but Rooster needs to learn time it crowed regularly from 4am lol till sun up.

Absolutely loved the piece and tranquility. Set up near the dam and could smell the citrus trees in the breeze. Beautiful spot to switch off and relax. Thanks for having us

Myself, Hubby and our furbaby loved being the only guests on site. We were nested amongst the olive trees , surrounded by nature. It was wonderful to be woken by the birds in the morning.
