At Hill River Farm you will experience a secluded area right close to the Chapman River amongst the gumtrees, with the Kookaburras and many other bird life. Horses roam in the paddocks, and it's fields of green for as far as the eye can see. We provide potable water, and a pristine setting, but other than that we ask you bring what you need to be self-sufficient. Only 15 minutes to the city of Geraldton and the beaches yet far enough away to enjoy time out in nature. Go for a stroll through and around the river area or the farm, and enjoy the peace and quiet. We look forward to welcoming you to Hill River Farm.PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BE SELF SUFFICIENT SO PLEASE ONLY BOOK IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TOILE/SHOWER ON BOARD 😉 Once you negotiate your way down the embankment from the main homestead you can choose a tranquil spot in which to park your vehicles/vans. Once you have parked up make yourself a fire (season permitting) and relax with the sounds of the many bird life, go for a stroll, kick a footy or do a personal exercise routine on the steep bank! We have potable (bore) water available for campers, however no facilities, so please come prepared with your own camp toilet and take all waste with you when you go.  Plenty of room to run, walk (beware the prickles though- bring shoes) and ride your bike, pull out the binoculars, and pat the horses (if we are saddling up you may even get a ride!) Dogs are permitted but please keep them with you at all times. We are situated only five minutes from the closest store for milk, bread, beer etc and 10/15 minutes from the city of Geraldton and beaches. Firewood for sale on site.

Heavenly!!
Gorgeous, serene and peaceful. So relaxing. Had my morning coffee chatting with the curious and friendly horses who came to say hello!! I loved listening to them munching on the grass near to the van when I woke up in the morning. Close enough to town too be convenient. We had a wonderful time.

Just far enough to be convenient
This farm stay was great, its just far enough out of Gereldton that the night sky was full of stars but close enough that forgoton pillows could be quickly sourced. The mosquitoes did come in on mass the night that the breeze dropped and you do need to have prepared for the lighters or be eaten alive. The children on the farm were very polite and helpful, a recommended place to stay.

We loved camping on Anita's property. Everyone is able to have a lovely green private area, and a fire, which we loved. The property is very neat and tidy, and we met Anita's wonderful children who delivered firewood I would highly recommend this spot, we used it as a base for the Geraldton area and it was great

It’s a good spot to leave the van and visit Geraldton, kids brought wood down in the evening, had a small fire, yes there are prickles and a few planes flying over not that it bothered us at all .
