We loved staying at Highway Hideaway. There is plenty of space and you can set up anywhere within your huge site.
The 800m discovery trail was a highlight, we took the walk many times and found something new each time. Plenty of wildlife around too.
Matt and two of his children welcomed us the evening we checked in and bought us some produce from their home garden. The figs and feijoas were delish!
Our dog was stoked to be able to roam off lead too!
What an incredible location! One of the best we have ever stayed at. Very well maintained, beautiful view in EVERY direction you look. Green lawns for kids to play. Bush walks with interesting tree signs. 5 minute drive to town. Trees light up at night, fall asleep to frogs in the background - you cannot top this! Matt and Ivy were the most amazing hosts! Thank you both for making it such a special trip for our family. Seriously - you have to check this place out!
S2 highway hideaway overlooks the dam. It's huge and can fit a 19ft van and 4x4. The site has a small playground for the kids one side and access to a bush walk trail at the rear. Very big, clean and well maintained. Matt and his family have done a great job of setting out the camp.
Our family had the best Easter long weekend at Matt’s property. We stayed at site 5 amongst the tree looking out to the dam. It was beautiful and so serene. We couldn’t hear any noise from the road despite being right next to it. Manjimup town is 5 mins away, handy when you need to get supplies or use dump point. Our girls received a lovely Easter gifts from Matt’s family, the highlight of their trip! Thanks for hosting us Matt. We’ll be back 😊
Highway hideaway is a great spot! Very clean, spacious and well set up. Matt brought the kids Easter treats and fruit from the trees. Kids enjoyed the walk trail at night possum spotting. Perfect spot for a busy weekend would recommend checking it out!
