The river runs gently through a few bends near the camping area and there is some sandy and slightly sloping banks which offer a beach feel where you can relax and watch the world go by,while the kids enjoy a cool off in the shallow water during the. warmer months. Enjoy all your favourite water activities on the Moore River including, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming or spot some wildlife from the river banks. You might see some few different species of fish, kangaroos, kookaburras ,parrots, hawks and other native birds. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding areas, with plenty of walking space available, Moore River National Park just 40 minutes drive and the beautiful coastline just 20 minutes away. Enjoy the many 4WD tracks, sandboarding, snorkeling, fishing and windsurfing all within an easy drive from the property. We have a large fire pit available for campers to enjoy along with a BBQ area and a toilets M/F near by so the essentials are covered. With 50 acres to choose from 1 river flows all year and 2 seasonal winter rivers, campers can park where they like in the mowed sections and set up their camp. 300m walk from the river to camp sites in the winter months(june-august) as tracks to the river become unsuitable for vehicles, and camping. We welcome you to enjoy our beautiful space at The Healing Haven, Joanne provides a unique experience with Perths only Crystal healing and chromotherapy bed. Where you can experience the combination of sound, crystals and chromotherapy for a magical energetic attunement. We have our amazing Horses and healing sessions, these sessions provide an experience to get up and personal with our healing horses, to experience how horses can calm the nervous system, feel the serenity of getting to know the horses, brushing experience and potentially a ride (this is always the horses choice).

We loved our experience. Ryan and Joanne are great hosts. The extra services they provide for campers are amazing. Would love to stay more regularly if it opens again.

Easter stay
Nice n flat plenty of room, unless someone wants to set up 5m from you despite there being loads of space to camp. It was still great. Loved the creek for kids and dogs. Nice touches of spit roast and ice creams

Cowalla Camping on the Moore River
They really have a great thing going here. Nicely set next to the river. Great for kids to spend the day exploring and riding their bikes. Dogs loving the sticks thrown into the river. Lamb on the spit, homemade ice cream. Was a great vibe and we would definitely look at returning.

Camping on the water
We had a great time camping with our 2 year old. Sites were clear, clean and flat. Plenty of room, flushing toilet, walk/bike tracks and a little river to play in. The owners are lovely! Thanks for letting us star
