Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Dwellingup is a quaint little town 1.5 hours or less from Perth. Our farm is very quiet, a truly tranquil spot in the middle of the forest.
We have a large damn that flows with a small waterfall in winter. It’s very peaceful to hear all the birds and animal life at the river's edge, along with the sounds of trickling water in winter.
We also have a small lavender farm which is in bloom in summer and smells lovely, particularly in the cool mornings. Because of our altitude, the weather is often a few degrees cooler all year round.
Many animals frequent our property. You will see kangaroos, fluffy white-tailed bunnies, black and red cockatoos, and even the odd emu not to mention the countless other species of birds.
Our property has dense native forest on two sides with hiking trails running just behind our block.
In town, there is a new pump track for kids to ride their bikes and scooters around, which is a lot of fun for them. There are also new public amenities in town about a three-minute drive away, which include public toilets and showers.
Unfortunately, we do not offer showers or toilets, so we ask that campers be completely self-sufficient, and would appreciate if campers could take away their rubbish with them and leave no trace 🙏
If you want to recharge and immerse yourself in nature, our farm is a beautiful and marvelous place to do so.
See you soon.Pitch your tent or pull up your camper right by the waters edge. Our dam is large and flowing in winter, however parts of it dry up in summer when it isn't fed by a winter creek. We don't have any designated spots, but there are many lovely places to set up camp.We would like to keep things quiet, peaceful and respectful here. So we would prefer no loud music that might disturb other campers or the wildlife please. There is a new ammenities block about a 3 minute dive away in town, with showers, toilets and bbq areas. In town you'll also find the Dwellingup pub, which serves great meals as well as a general store for daily essentials and a few nice coffee shops. Lane poole reserve is about a 10 minute drive away, which is great for swimming and canoeing. Depending on the season you might also be able to pick your own seasonal fruit at one of the nearby orchards.
