10 acres of meadows, forest, garden, pond and seasonal stream on Orcas Island, WA! Camp in a grove of cedars or in a meadow by the pond. Orcas Island at large is a special place to connect with nature and healthy ecosystems. Moran State Park on the east side of the island is a fabulous evergreen rainforest sanctuary with old growth trees and amazing lakes to explore. Turtleback mountain is on the west side (close to us) and is a sacred mountain full of oak trees and splendid views of the surrounding islands, including Vancouver island in the distance. Some other features not to miss are whale watching, kayaking, and the excellent restaurants around the island. Our homestead is a great place to rest, recharge and sink in. There is no longer an outdoor kitchen for use and due to fire hazard/liability the sauna is not for use either.10 acres of meadows, forest, garden, pond and seasonal stream on Orcas Island, WA! Ravensong Refuge
Erin was super welcoming and flexible with our late arrival. We camped in a different spot than normal so our late arrival wouldn’t disturb the other campers, and had everything we needed. The whole property does indeed feel like a refuge and it was a treat to share it for a couple nights.

Beautiful campsites. Great for a group, and close to all the attractions on the island.

Ravensong Refuge
Would be excellent for larger groups and/or groups with kids. There is a new structure on the property (large geodome) that isn’t in the photos I don’t think, just a heads up.

Amazing Orcas Island spot
We love Ravensong! We stayed 4 years ago and again this summer. Everything was as great as we remembered. Erin is an awesome host! We love camping by the pond, the beautiful property, the garden…a magical island getaway! We’ll definitely stay again in the future!
