At Highwater Farm Jeff and Danielle, and their five kids, work hard to be good stewards of the land. We believe the health of the people is directly related to the health of the land that produces their food. Our land is certified organic. We grow soil improving crops, such as clover and grasses, and let fields rest in rotation with vegetables. These techniques increase fertility naturally and keep the earth in good tilth. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent under a nice shade tree in the middle of an organic vegetable farm in the heart of the  Skagit river valley. Have a look at our sheep, cows, geese and resident eagles. Just 2 miles to Clear lake public beach and minutes to Mount Vernon , Sedro Woolley, or Burlington.  About halfway between Seattle and the Canadian border and 30 min to Anacortes ferry terminal.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Terrible. They did not have water, restrooms, and there was so signage to the property. We also got a wild plants tour & he literally pointed to his cucumbers and parsley & said here it is! Do not stay here!! Not worth it at all… also, they have a photo of a women in their photo & the name Danielle as a contact & only a man met us.. it was terrible. Not at all what I expected

Hosts were kind and welcoming. Our kids loved the cows, geese and snails. The tree under which we camped provided nice shade. The location was close to our weekend destination, so that was convenient. The ground was very lumpy and slanted under our tent site, and the road noise (since it’s right off a 50mph road) was difficult until about midnight. We had trouble locating the farm, but called the host and he was able to help us. No picnic table and a bit of a walk to the bathroom/water source in the barn.

Amazing spot- frolicked with puppys
The camp spot was absolutely beautiful! We stayed under an old tree so there was lots of shade to stay cool under. The host was super friendly and very helpful- I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful spot Also- we frolicked through a field with 3 puppies- this is not a joke, this actually happened.
