Beautiful water views of the river, truly one of the nicest places on the skykomish river large old-growth trees, very green. Very calm and quiet salmon In the river eagles in trees. Owls at certain times of the year. Beautiful Deck overhang on the river large fire pit with three person stones the deck and fire pit is for everyone. A Grove of large redwood trees surrounded the fire pit. Steelhead and salmon fishing in the river and has a large gravel bar with huge back cast for fly fishing. Dog are allowed. There is a propane bbq and music at the deck area. There is a bathroom with flush toilet. Yes a flush toilet Why drive a long way with traffic and gas cost. This is within 30 miles of seattle, everret, and Bellevue. No crowds.

Rod was really nice and attentive. He came and greeted us and made sure we were settled in. The space unfortunately though is very close to active train tracks and the trains can run all night long, so it isn't the quietest! Space is pretty, right along the river, and it has a flush toilet !

Rod was an excellent host! We arrived in the dark, so Rod came out to help us find our site. Since all the sites were empty, he offered the main site to stay in, an unexpected upgrade! When he learned it was our anniversary, he generously invited us to stay in the cabin on the property, another upgrade! The land is beautiful and the flush toilet is convenient. It was the perfect place to stop over on our way back home.

Gracious host with some great stories to tell. Community deck was fun to hang out on next to the river. Tent site was clean and perfect for our set up. Flush toilet was greatly appreciated. Train might be a bother to some but wasn’t to us. We actually enjoyed it. Would stay here again.

Take a walk through beautiful old forest growth at Rod’s riverside camp. Follow walking paths to the common area or climb down to the river with your furry friends. This hip camp is pet friendly and fenced in so pets can roam off leash. The host is friendly and accommodating and available if you need him! Thank you Rod for sharing your space 🙌

Rod has a amazing piece of land in a beautiful area. He has done a great job with making people feel welcome and adding improvements to make everyone's stay easy. He is also very responsive to questions, I had a million haha.
