35 acres hosted by Johnetta G.
1 Vehicle/Tent site
Come and enjoy a piece of this 35 acres former Equestrian facility. Experience our growth as we reopen former trails through this lovely Indian Neck property. We have a level 2 EVSE (EV charger) with J1772 plug on site.
We are minutes away from the Rappahannock tribal center and the chief's former residence is literally across the street. There is numerous wildlife including birds, deer, butterflies, groundhogs, skunks, and rabbits on the property. The town of Tappahannock in Essex County where there's a Walmart and dining options is a short 9 miles away. Also in Tappahannock is the Rappahannock River with boating, fishing, and great views of the river itself.
Our home and some of the outbuildings was built in the late 1700's. When I think about the fact that we live in a house that was here during the war of 1812, it just blows my mind. The property itself was once part of a much larger plantation as was many of the properties in the area. The property was once a dairy farm and after that it was a equestrian operation. Throughout the woods there are overgrown trails that were once the horse riding trails. We are working to re-open those trails for walking and biking. In the future we would like to offer a dump site, electric and water hookups at a few of our sites, and porta-johns.Come and enjoy a piece of this 34.75 acres former Equestrian facility.
