South Fork Farm is a 300 acre cattle farm nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has a spectacular view of rolling pasture land with black Angus and other cattle grazing, as well as a gorgeous view of Bull Mountain located in Stuart, Virginia.
On clear days, you can see pilot mountain in North Carolina. We have beautiful sunsets, level asphalt, camping sites for RVs, picturesque farm, silos, and old barns. We are conveniently located near Fairystone Park, Philpott Lake, Primland Resort, Mabry Mill, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. On site, there is a large pond available for swimming or fishing, as well as a wide but shallow river to wet your ankles, skip rocks, and enjoy nature.Campers will be able to park along a long, scenic driveway, and set up camp. They’ll have 360° views of 300 acres of green pasture land with fenced in cattle farming. Cows will roam free within the fields and you may be woken up by loud moos. Tractors will be moseying along with Haybale‘s, and there is access to a large fishing pond or swimming hole, as well as a wide, shallow river that can be used for play activities.
This is a rugged farm, so some access to different amenities will require walking along dirt paths and Rocky Terrain. The host lives on site and can provide help or resources if needed. The location is with in 15 miles the Blue Ridge Parkway, Fairystone State Park, Philpott Lake, and other tourist attractions in the area.
