Private Forest Camper Retreat
Loved the campsite. We were at Hummingbird, with the camper. Kathryn is an excellent host and was very responsive if we had any questions. The site felt isolated and the dogs had a great time running around. There were hammocks, chairs, two picnic tables. We used the propane grill for cooking, that has a charcoal grill on the side if you choose to bring charcoal. They have all of the cooking utensils, and even plates, eating utensils, and mugs in the trailer for those of us that forgot to bring them. There are maps that they provide to go for hiking around the property. They have a nice compost toilet that's about 10 minutes away from the campsite (we did not use the toilet offered in the camper). There's plenty of firewood that you pay through venmo. All in all we had a blast and would definitely return again.

Phantom Hill
Waterthrush at Phantom Hill was a lovely weekend getaway with nature. The site had great seating, fire ring, table, comfy hammocks, and a grill for meals. The farm trails were full of sweet surprises including the self guided tour of the mushroom farm. The shared outhouse was close but not too close. This Hip Camp spot is just as described with hidden treasures.

I loved camping on Kathryn’s land!! Learning about the mushroom farm + the trails around the property was such a bonus. The site itself was so well equipped too, can’t wait to come back!!
