Forest Oasis with Creek Pool
Camping with the shrooms!
Kathryn’s campsite was AMAZING!!!! We had the best time exploring the woods for mushrooms. Was a big hit for my group members! I really wasn’t expecting it to be so magical! It definitely gave us a little piece of our childhood back-exploring the woods and walking/swimming in the creek! It was the best weekend <3

Private Forest Camper Retreat
Perfect Weekend Getaway
We came on a last minute trip for our dog's first camping trip and had a lovely time. My AWD CRV was able to make it to camp site no problem and and was very quiet and well thought out. Highlights were the lovely trails, self guided mushroom farm tour and hammocks. Would love to come again!

Secluded Creekside Retreat
Great Family Adventure
This camp was exactly what we needed. A short walk in to the site (great introduction to hike in camping for the kids) A quiet place to get away, trails to hike, activities for the kids (gnomes to find and relocate & treasure boxes to find along the trails) and our own personal swimming hole in the creek. The site was well kept, the host was as around if needed, the shared compost toilet was always clean. The self guided mushroom farm tour was a great added bonus. This was the perfect family trip for my wife's birthday and we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. We will take this over a crowded campground anyday!

Forest Oasis with Creek Pool
Serene Site with Great Amenities!
The Forest Oasis offers a secluded retreat balancing nature and comfort. Booking was easy, with host Kathryn responding promptly. Check-in was smooth, though a 4WD vehicle is necessary due to rugged terrain. The campsite provides a near-glamping experience, true to its description. Guests receive a free firewood bundle, with extras available for $5 each. The site includes a propane grill, comfortable furniture, and inviting hammocks. A well-maintained composting outhouse nearby adds to the eco-friendly appeal. The peaceful, isolated setting is the highlight of Forest Oasis. The innovative composting system is both intriguing and environmentally conscious. For explorers, the property features trails and mushroom farms, though we didn't investigate these during our stay. We encountered minor issues: solar-powered strip lights were inconsistent, lasting only about 20 minutes after sunset, and the grill was challenging to light, with only two functional burners. These small setbacks hardly detracted from the overall experience, and we believe the attentive host would address any concerns if notified. Forest Oasis is perfect for couples or small groups seeking a relaxing, nature-immersed getaway without sacrificing comfort. It's ideal for nature enthusiasts and those interested in eco-friendly camping. The site offers great value and comes highly recommended for future visits. We will definitely be back!!

Secluded Creekside Retreat
Very secluded and peaceful!
Camping was great. Plenty of space. The walk is a little far to the creekside secluded retreat. Would recommend packing sorta light. They dohave carts to wheel stuff to your campsite. Very helpful. Amenities are great. It was very peaceful.
