Had a great time. Such a friendly and caring host who provided everything we needed and more. Nicely spaced sites and awesome amenities like the provided fire wood-such an awesome surprise for us. And the outdoor forest bath!!! Close to some fun hikes with gorgeous views as well as a couple orchards and more. Camp here!

This place is beautiful and located just minutes from Shenandoah National Park, with its amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains along with countless trails and tons to see and do. Gail was a lovely host. Very responsive and welcoming. The sites and amenities were impeccable. What you’d expect from an experienced Hipcamp host and then some. The only thing, which were no bother to me but may be an annoyance to others- there are dogs that bark all night in the distance. I kind of respected that they were probably keeping the area safe and warning predators to keep away. But if you need silence to sleep, bring ear buds. Otherwise, enjoy the scenery and serenity! Will definitely consider another magical stay here 💜🩷🩵

We booked this site last minute so we could enjoy a weekend outside the park. We really enjoyed the quietness of the site and the outdoor shower! Good place to see some stars when the sky is clear.

Beautiful site with some privacy
My friend and I stayed at the zen deck campsite location on Gail’s land. It was perfect! My friend slept in his camper van parked right outside of the fence, and I stayed in my tent on the deck. The campsite area is fenced in and provides privacy from the other campsite on the property. The views were beautiful and we got to watch the horses roam around on the other side of the property. There site had a campfire area, small table, and cooking grate to place over the fire. There is a shared outhouse and shower located near the barn. We were a 20 minute drive from Humback Rock hike, which was spectacular. I’d highly recommend this site!

Forest Site
Awesome off the grid camping spot!
A truly lovely property that is absolutely gorgeous in autumn! Gail was also wonderfully accommodating and responsive. We camped at the Forest Site and enjoyed it very much- it's wooded but close to the horses too so best of both worlds. The three available campsites are within view of one another but spaced far enough apart so that you don't feel like you're on top of each other. We felt we had enough privacy for our needs, definitely more so than a state park generally offers. Highly recommend and I'm sure we will be back!

Nice, clean and beautiful property
Check in was easy and our site was nice. There was a great map provided so we could explore the property. Firewood was available which was nice, though we had brought our own. Over the fire was a grate for cooking which came in handy.
